During the official opening ceremony of the flood protection Petersbach-Unterlauf with the member of the Government in Styria Mr Johann Seitinger and the Mayor Mr Siegfried Nagl we had a short meeting with the Austrian Federal Minister for Agriculture Mr Andrä Rupprechter. Our Honorary President Ms Sissi Potzinger handed over fresh FAIR FUTURE BIO-garlic and one glas of our brand-new Panther-Pesto together with a summary of our FAIR FUTURE project idea.

"Rebuilding Trust in Europe" was the topic of the Vienna Policy Conference held on 29th October 2015 in Vienna. Together with a member of the Slovakian Ministry of Social Affairs Markus Mandl participated in this exciting discussion about the flow of refugees in Europe. After the discussion we had the possibility to present the FAIR FUTURE idea and the ECVET AGENT project (ERASMUS+)to Katarina Mathernova, Deputy Director General / Directorate-General for Regional Policy, European Commission and Kilian Kleinschmidt, former Senior Field Coordinator, Zaatari refugee camp (Jordan), now advisor to the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Austria).

In the course of cooperation and ongoing projects and proposals The OeAD sent an agency panel to EUROPEAN NEIGHBOURS and the FAIR FUTURE Team which declares them as an official Erasmus+ project partner. The panel has been mounted immediately with great pleasure. The OeAD and the Intercultural Centre supervise the areas of education and youth as national agencies in Austria.

In August Mr Mandl had an informal meeting with Ms Barbora Vavrova from the Ministry of social affairs in Bratislava. The topic was the existing call for proposal for young unemployed Slovakian in the sector of agriculture.

A productive and motivating meeting with our strong partners Jana Tomova and Rutko Toma took place in Nova Bana in Slovakia. After a closer look at this year's Fair Future garlic harvest and a wonderful lunch there was a detailed discussion of the next steps of the FAIR FUTURE project in Slovakia.
Later on one of the 22 Roma houses managed by th family Toma was visited.

The FAIR FUTURE TEAM (Mandl, Lienhart) was invited by Jan Hero (Roma Ministry Bratislava) to a huge youth festival in Kralova Lehota in Slovakia on which a Roma tent for concerts and keynotes was established for the first time. At this „Romsky Dom“ a meeting with Mr. Peter Pollak (Plenipotentiary for Roma affairs in Slovakia) about the next steps in Slovakia took place. During 3 days about 7000 guests were welcomed at the festival.
